Impasto- Impasto is a painting technique that uses thick layers of paint. When you apply the paint thickly, it produces an incredibly beautiful effect on the canvas.

Layering in watercolors- Glazing slowly builds up watercolor layers, a little at a time, as the artist fully fleshes out their work. Typically, glazing (or layering) adds a new layer once the previous layers and washes have dried.

Sgraffito- sgraffito, (Italian: “scratched”), in the visual arts, a technique used in painting, pottery, and glass, which consists of putting down a preliminary surface, covering it with another, and then scratching the superficial layer in such a way that the pattern or shape that emerges is of the lower color.

Monoprinting- Monoprinting is a one-off fine art printing technique that uses a sheet of glass or Perspex to transfer a unique design onto a sheet of paper.

There are various artist that has their own different style of art and they have their own kaupapa that is based on their presence of art. They are 4 established artists that I have picked in terms of their style of art. It's because of how they beautifully created their canvas with good details and intelligently create good imagery that shows an artist's best quality impressions. This tells my mind that this has to be on a high level and that says that they are the establised artist. It's repectively, van gogh, Cy Twombly, Richard Saja and Edgar dagas.

The title of the song is "out of darkness" and it is from the movie called "Everybody's talking about jamie.

What is happening in the story of the song.

They were all enjoying how far they came as the film was about to end when this song was played during the film.

What is the song about?  

This song is about Being individual without needing to be like someone else self-esteem.

Solidifying you kaupapa

• What is it? Kaupapa is when you create art that draws into your mind or your intentions to create anything that would represent from your inner brain.
• How are you going to use images to explore it? Just by its patterns of the scheme from that and what it is created in which tools they have used or what type of an imagery in an art of painting they have put out which would always has a meaning to it that I can feel of.
• Why have you chosen those images? Because I think it would relate in my personal idea that could create many ideas into my relation.

I choose from one of the artist art which are 4 artist of them, respectfully they are Leonora Carrington, Kathe Kollwitz, Frido Khilo and Artemisia Gentilesch that is based in my topic from what they have created. They are 4 separated art photo that I have form them into group which related to "equity and equality".

1. What is your Preferred subject matter? I prefer to make art by expressing myself and that represents myself and my thoughts by making human rights in general which is having freedom is one of the people like their freedom of speech and would be happy to make any landscapes too which represents peace in my opinion.


2. What is the Purpose of the exploration of your art? It meant to me like a new idea to start especially since this was my first ever artist to have picked this year. The purpose is to explore new things that you are not so familiar with and learn about them.


3. Who is Your Target Audience? I think my audience will be the group of people that prefers the type of artwork. 

Who is going to relate to this work? Those who are at the level that have creative mindset and that might be either at any ages like some young and old audiences.

Kaupapa art

Kaupapa is ‘meaning’, intention, belief, and understanding all rolled into one. In Te Ao Māori it is 

foundational in knowing who you are and why you are.

Why- The artist wanted to express his emotional reaction of the subject to the viewer, not just the reality of what he saw.
How- Modeling with color: red behind yellow-green half of face and green behind the light red (pink) half of the face
What- This painting is of his wife

My theme will be "Equity and Equality" which will be represented about people who should have mankind in their different appearance by their nations. As I picked this, I think this is the best idea for people to see this just by their race, but by not necessarily always treated being equal, even equity of the way we want to treat people. I also visualize and picture of  it by brainstorming it with some specific topics to create more ideas for me to gain more knowledge and for the viewers in terms of "Kaupapa". This topic will be easier for me to find because I have picked this personally which I would have already some understanding this topic in which words to put out but still going to give me a hard time to think in somewhat ways. Such being equality is a good example for treating different people's nations or their race in what they are treated to their own humankind. For whereas in equity is to help people achieve rewards fairness in treatment and outcomes.

What are the hydraulic tools:

Hydraulic tools are high-powered tools that pressurized fluid to operate hydraulic machinery.

How do they work?

Hydraulic systems work by using pressurized fluid to power an engine. These hydraulic presses put pressure on a small amount of fluid in order to generate a large amount of power. ... That pressure forces it against a piston on the other side of the container.

What safety precaution do you need to take?

Safe hydraulic system performance requires general maintenance.

• Periodically check for oil leaks and worn hoses.
• Keep contaminants from hydraulic oil and replace filters periodically.
• Coat cylinder rods with protective lubricants to avoid rusting.

How to maintain them:

1. Change the (could be the return or pressure filter) hydraulic filter.
2. Obtain a hydraulic fluid sample.
3. Filter hydraulic fluid.
4. Check hydraulic actuators.
5. Clean the inside of a hydraulic reservoir.
6. Clean the outside of a hydraulic reservoir.
