22nd Nov. 2019

You have the power to change the world.

What does an ideal world look like in your mind? What could you do to make it a reality?

So, If the world was perfect people need to be good and no one would ever do some illegal way, And everywhere is absolutely cleaned like it's actually perfect ( but i wish).

Mythics in philippines

14th. Nov. 2019

Bakunawa

Bakunawa is a serpent-like dragon in Philippine mythology. People in the Philippines  believed to be the cause of eclipses, earthquakes, rains, and wind. The movements of the bakunawa are served as a geomantic calendar system for ancient Filipinos and were part of the shamanistic rituals of the Babylan.  It actually appears as a giant sea serpent with a mouth the size of a lake, whiskers, gills, a red tongue, small wires at the sides, and yet has two wings (so that it will fly), and ash-gray. I notice that not just every people in our country believes this myth and some people don't know who is this scary or whatever in the Philippines. I mean the reasons why people might not believe this myth just because he flies and also he eats moon doesn't mean it's not real. For me, it's really scared to look at it. Anyways, It is what it is to someone who really believes in myth.

Earthquakes

31st Oct. 2019

Hey guys, I'm gonna be talking about the earthquake like the whole fact information. Anytime it will suddenly shake off the ground, it caused by the passage of seismic waves through Earth's rocks. The major fault lines of the world are located at the fringes of the huge tectonic plates that make up Earth's crust.

General Questions-

What is an earthquake? An earthquake occurs when rocks break and slip along a fault in the earth.

What causes an earthquake? Earthquakes are caused by the slow deformation of the outer, brittle portions of "tectonic plates", the earth's outermost layer of crust and upper mantle.

How do earthquakes cause damage? Most earthquake damage is caused by ground shaking.

Does the earth open up during an earthquake? No! A common misconception is that of a hole in the ground that opens during an earthquake to swallow up unfortunate victims.

Where do earthquakes occur? Earthquakes occur all over the world; however, most occur on active faults that define the major tectonic plates of the earth.

What is the relationship between volcanoes and earthquakes? The earthquake activity of numerous volcanoes is closely monitored to provide warning signs of an imminent eruption. Large volcanic eruptions, especially the explosive type, can release huge amounts of energy that can be recorded by seismographs even far from the source.

Will more shocks be felt after a strong earthquake? For several hours or even days, after a strongly felt earthquake, it is quite possible that people may feel more shocks.

Can earthquakes be predicted? With the present state of scientific knowledge, it is not possible to predict earthquakes and certainly not possible to specify in advance their exact date, time and location, although scientists have carried out research on a wide variety of attempted prediction methods.

Does the rate of earthquakes increase during the cold weather? Although cold temperatures greatly affect the ground near the surface, it has no effect at greater depths. Near the surface, freeze and thaw cycles can weaken and break rock due to high water pressure.

Are there certain months of the year that are more seismically active than others? No, there are no months that have more earthquakes than others. Examining the list of Canadian or global earthquakes, there isn't a season that stands out as having an increased number of earthquakes.

Can people cause earthquakes? Yes! Minor earthquakes have been triggered by human activities such as mining (rockburst and cavity collapse), the filling of reservoirs behind large dams, and the injection of fluids into wells for oil recovery or waste disposal.

Does a small earthquake mean that a larger earthquake is coming? No, except for very rare exceptions. Every year, hundreds of earthquakes occur in Canada. Only a very tiny minority of these precede a larger earthquake.

Magnitude

What is the "magnitude" of an earthquake? Magnitude is a measure of the amount of energy released during an earthquake.

What is the difference between the "magnitude" and the "intensity" of an earthquake? The Intensity scale is designed to describe the effects of an earthquake, at a given place, on natural features, on industrial installations, and on human beings.

Certain earthquakes have a negative magnitude, is this an error? No, it is not an error. As magnitude calculations are based on a logarithmic scale, a ten-fold drop in amplitude decreases the magnitude by 1

Is there a maximum magnitude for an earthquake? Though theoretically there is no mathematical limit with the magnitude calculation, physically there is a limit. The magnitude is related to the surface area of the blocks of rock which rub together and in doing so give rise to seismic waves.

Do several magnitude scales exist? Though seismologists generally refer to magnitude on the Richter scale, several magnitude scales do exist.

Main question

What happens during an earthquake?
The Earth is an active planet, with activity occurring in the oceans, in the atmosphere and in the solid Earth itself. This course looks at a dramatic example of solid Earth activity.

how do we measure an earthquake?
Earthquakes are measured using seismographs, which monitor the seismic waves that travel through the Earth after an earthquake strikes.

the last pick

23rd oct. 2019

Characters:

Chris- the kid
Jeremy- the nba player
Mike- brother
6 adults- random peps

This In basketball court, There so many adults who play basketball well probably every single time while there is only 1 kid. So first of all what just happened is Chris woke up early in the morning just to play basketball with those adults, but sadly, nobody pick him because those adults looking very disappointed of him joining in but the kid tried his best not let down in that game and I fell for that to him.. Since Jeremy lin shows up, he went there all of the sudden since Chris was upset and dropped his ball out of nowhere, and Jeremy lin came up to pick up the ball then he’s asking if it’s the kids ball, and the kid was obviously about to give up but then Jeremy giving him some advice something positively to not give up with his opportunities career. Jeremy wanting him to give all his best playing basketball but Chris wasn’t really serious at it. He only plays that just for fun. But he’s brother was discouraging because he just doesn't want Chris to play basketball and he thinks that Chris is not good enough to play basketball. Chris already tried his best just to play but his brother will never let him join the game which kinda feels bad for me to him. So Jeremy lin wants to know the whole information about Chris like the best line what I’ve heard was ( Well you're young you’ll keep growing). After that happened, Jeremy lin has made a successful reason because he convinced very well to Chris. So they were started to practising basketball which improves his skills than he ever was. They do pushups, dribblings everything that’s part of basketball. They’ve had a dinner while he’s brother was calling his friend, Mike ignored Chris of what he was asking, but then Jeremy texted him saying (Hey buddy, hope your test went well. Remember to follow through when you shoot!) and then he decided where his hoops adjust while it was really dark on the outside by shooting just by himself. After that night, He woke early in the morning and then he went to the basketball court with confidence which was so unbelievable because he believes that Jeremy was already on the basketball court without letting those friends of mike. Chris said that (give me at least one chance to play with you). Since Jeremy appeared in the basketball, before they play basketball, All of Mike’s friends was so surprised at seeing Jeremy lin. Mike said let's pick a player first but when Jeremy lin picked Chris everyone was so shocked, All of them did not expect that to happen. They’ve finally picked him to play basketball.

how hydraulics work.

22nd july 2019

Intro:

Hello guys, so today we're going to talk about how hydraulics work. So these words written are copied paste on the website but except the questions, because I was just about to find it out. This is gonna be quite struggle to me.

how hydraulics work?

Many people have heard the term hydraulics in relation to their cars or some other type of vehicle or machinery, but most people have very little idea of how hydraulics actually work.  They may have a vague concept of water being used to do something, but that’s about it.  Hydraulics are actually very interesting in how they use water to do what they do.

questions:

What is hydraulics?

Hydraulics can be a term used for the study of liquids function, but most people think of its use engineering when they hear the term. Hydraulics systems work by using pressurized fluid to power an engine. These hydraulic presses put pressure on a small amount of fluid in order to generate a large amount of power.

What are the hydraulics used for?

In its fluid power applications, hydraulics is used for the generation, control, and transmission of power by the use of pressurized liquids. Hydraulic topics range through some parts of science and most of the engineering modules and cover concepts such as pipe flow, dam design, fluidics and fluid control circuitry.

How can I estimate horizontal hydraulic conductivity from an-isotropic factor and topography at large scale?

The hydraulic conductivity of soil in the vertical direction was estimated by using the constant head method. I used dye injection method to estimate the resultant hydraulic conductivity. In any cases, the length of seepage line and its transfer time to the downstream were measured. Given the resultant magnitude of hydraulic conductivity and its value in the vertical direction, can be approximated the soil permeability in the horizontal one.

Example:

Car hydraulics

Car hydraulics are equipment installed in an automobile that allows for a dynamic adjustment in height of the vehicle. These suspension modifications are often placed in a lowrider, i.e., a vehicle modified to lower its ground clearance below that of its original design.

Hydraulic motors are more like pumps working in reverse. In one example, called a hydraulic gear motor, the fluid flows into the motor through a pipe, making a pair of closely meshing gears rotate, before flowing back out through another pipe.

However, A liquid pressure helps in the application ofhydraulic brakes. The transmission of pedal force to thebrake shoe with the means of a confined liquid through a system is brake fluid
